Connect Stripe to accept card payments
Set up online payments so customers can pay your invoices by card. Job Assistant uses Stripe and never sees card numbers.
Connecting Stripe lets your customers pay invoices online by card — which gets you paid faster than checks. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account; Job Assistant never touches card numbers.
- 1Go to Settings → Accept Payments.
- 2Tap "Connect with Stripe."
- 3Follow Stripe's short setup — your business details and where to deposit money. It takes a few minutes.
- 4Once connected, every invoice you send has a "Pay online" button.
About fees
Job Assistant doesn't charge a fee on payments. Stripe charges its standard rate (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). You can pass that to customers or absorb it.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe?
Yes. Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the same processor used by Amazon and Shopify) handles all card data. Job Assistant never sees or stores card numbers.
When do I get the money?
Stripe deposits into your bank account on its normal payout schedule, usually within a couple of business days.
