How customers pay an invoice online
What your customer sees when they pay an invoice, and how the invoice marks itself paid automatically.
Once you've connected Stripe, getting paid is hands-off.
- 1You send the invoice; the customer gets an email with a "View invoice & pay" button.
- 2They open it, review the line items, and pay by card on a secure Stripe page.
- 3The invoice automatically marks itself paid — you don't have to do anything.
- 4The payment is recorded in your books, and the money goes to your Stripe account.
